Zerotech Dobby motor support

Zerotech Dobby motor support

thingiverse

This is a thin PLA support for the ZeroTech Dobby motor arms that have recently shown a tendency to crack. This thing consists of 2 .stl files, one for a 'left curl' motor arm (front left, rear right) and one for a 'right curl' motor arm (front right, rear left). It will need to be glued in place using something like an epoxy to fill any gaps and add rigidity. Each thing is of negligible weight, 2 of them weigh less than a gram so they should not affect flying time at all. the only downside with them is that the arms will not fully close once they have been installed. Print Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm layer height, 0.4 nozzle Infill: 20% Notes: The test was printed using an extrusion width of 0.48mm (the default for Simplify3D) using PLA at 200 deg C and a heated bed at 50 deg C (probably not necessary).
