Zerotech Rotating Camera Mod

Zerotech Rotating Camera Mod

thingiverse

This is a modification to the Zerotech Dobby to enable the camera to be rotated whilst in flight. All instructions on how to create it are in the Readme file but, in essence, the camera is extended forward of the body, a small servo is attached which is driven using an Adafruiit Feather RFM69HCW. A second, handheld, Feather is used to signal the airborne Feather to rotate the camera. UPDATE - I've added 2 alternative Adafruit Feather programs (called Btn_Tx and Btn_Rx). Adding a momentary switch connected to GND and I/O pin 12 to the handheld controller enables the camera lens to automatically cycle through set camera angles. The main reason for this is to be able to create a panning video that can be used to create a 360 deg pano for Facebook and other websites.
