ZeroView Raspberry Pi Cover

ZeroView Raspberry Pi Cover

I've been a big fan of time-lapse photography and the ZeroView rig for the official raspberry pi camera has been a treat. So much so that I have one for travelling and one in the nursery that looks out over the local park. However, the green LED on Pi Zero W's casts light into a dark room and I have noticed on some of the time-lapse runs glare from the windows which will reflect back into the shot. This case serves three purposes: 1) Hide the green LED (Which you could do from software, but sometimes it is nice to have a peek to see all is okay) 2) Prevent window glare on the lens (It may or may not achieve this, depends on your setup) 3) Protect the Pi Zero from electrostatic discharge and generally bad things. Conceivably with this case you could deploy a ZeroView rig outdoors but I haven't had the nerve to try it. The case fits snugly into the ZeroView rig with a Pi Zero W. It should work with other Pi Zero models. However it probably won't fit with any attached headers or any other hats or extensions.  The entire bottom is open to connect to the USB and HDMI ports and to provide access to the suction cups to attach to a surface. Printed on Black Proto-Pasta HTPLA with supports everywhere to support the ledges to attach to the frame. This creates a small set of supports that can be easily removed. PrusaSlicer may stage this upside down. You want the flat surface to be printed on the base and the “clips” to be supported by bridging material. I have no idea if this will work on 3D printed frames, this was designed for the purchased ZeroView frame which can be found at various Raspberry Pi dealers such as here: https://thepihut.com/products/zeroview (No endorsement to ThePiHut, I just bought mine from there)
