Zhiyun Smooth Q Video Rig/ Cage

This project is still evolving, with Solidworks files uploaded for potential modification to fit a different gimbal setup. The design is tailored to work seamlessly with 1/2" metal conduit and utilizes M3x20 screws for assembly. My primary goal was to create a gimbal that aligns the camera's motion directly with my hand position, ensuring an immersive experience. Although I've yet to complete the grips and handles, the rendered image reflects how I envision the final setup – essentially inverted. I'm hopeful that I can soon resolve the handle design issues, as all other components are already printed and operational. To enhance balance, I connected the handles with a 3in 5/16" bolt. To assemble the rig, you'll need to print four handle brackets. Update: After finally assembling the entire system, it operates fairly well. However, the handles require revision to prevent movement during shooting. The main rail rods measure 18 inches in length, while the handle rods are 8 inches long.
