I designed a custom storage container for my Jeep's registration and insurance card, modifying ark19's 18650 battery holder to fit the job. The design was crafted with ease, attaching securely to the gear shift lever, which is wrapped in a protective foam cover, using two sturdy zip ties. Having previously printed this container, I was impressed by its smooth threading, so I simply scaled it up to accommodate my documents and added two convenient attachment points for the zip ties. To give it a sleek finish, I treated it with a light acetone vapor coating. Thanks are due to ark19 for sharing the original model.
