ZMR 250 motor guards / savers with landing foot

thingiverse

This thing is triple remix based on my last one "ZMR 250 landing foot for 1806 motor guard" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1743198 (Aug 29, 2016) combined with "high zmr motor guard" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1417558 by "Heimscheisser" (Mar 15, 2016) and "ZMR motor savers/guards" http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:984836 by "Judar" (Aug 26, 2015). I have merged all designs so both the high and low guards include now a sphere or a cone landing foot, all in one piece/guard that is attached directly to the arm of the frame using the same screws of the motors. The base of these guards is now higher (3 mm) providing more robustness, so I recommend to use at least M2x8 screws depending on the high of the arms. Because of complexity of the piece, supports are needed for printing, so the pieces are rotated. After the process you should use a cutter to remove the support carefully. The desings are for the 1806 motor and there are cutted versions as the pieces of my previous remix. In addition you can choose among a lower guard ("Judar" design) and a higher guard ("Heimscheisser" design). Because of complexity of the piece, supports are needed for printing. After the process you should use a cutter to remove the support carefully. Post-Printing For attach the guards to the arm holes of the motor, at least M2x8 screws are required. In my case 2 mm attach the motor, 3 mm of the arm and 3 mm of the saver/guard landing part.
