After flying nearly 12 months, the lower bearings of the DYS BE1806 on my ZMR250 are worn out. On one motor the lower bearing is finally broken. I think this is because of all the mud, that gets to the bearing by the holes in the ZMR250 arm. So I designed a motor-protector that fits on the arm without demounting the motor screws. Just slip the protector on the arm and zip-tie it. Be aware, there is a small version for 1806-motors and a bigger version that fits up to 2205 motors. Both are designed for 3mm arms. Other versions may follow. The protector covers the hole for the motor-shaft and it covers all motor screws. No dirty hex-screws, no mud on the motorshaft and bearings. Print upright as in the stl-file. Use PLA or TPU. Print Settings Printer: CTC Dual Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 0% up to 50% Notes: When you are printing with PLA, use extra cooling or print 4 pieces at once. The form is very thin and overhangs tend to melt down when you print only one piece.
