Tevo Tarantula Pro Leveling Nut

Tevo Tarantula Pro Leveling Nut

The Tevo Tarantula Pro is a great FDM printer, but unfortunately, some of the parts you will need or want to modify aren't included. Theoretically, you can print those parts yourself using the TTPro, but if you want that "factory look" for your parts, you'll need to use a resin printer. I used an Elegoo Mars, which I can highly recommend, but obviously, use what you want/have/need an excuse to buy... =) If you're using an alternate Z-motor mount for better adjustability, the standard leveling nuts that come with the printer can come awfully close to hitting it. They're also pretty ugly! So I designed these leveling nuts that are not only smaller, around 30mm, but look much more stylish, with the Tevo logo used as "knurling". The STL file might need to be rotated in your slicer of choice so that a flat face is sitting on the printing plate/base. See the attached image of the part placed in ChituBox for an example of what worked for me, and should work for you too. If printed with a resin printer and properly placed on the build plate, this part doesn't need any supports. I wouldn't recommend printing these nuts on an FDM printer, or the TTPro itself, as you'll probably lose all detail on the logo knurling, but it's up to you! <b>UPDATE 10/06/2019:</b> Per request, added a version with a smooth outside for those who want to print with an FDM printer. <u>Parts List</u> *Amazon affiliate links 4x M4x8mm Knurled Threaded Inserts https://amzn.to/2mnIwmqs 1x Elegoo Mars Printer (optional) https://amzn.to/2mo6Pkj 1x Elegoo Black Resin (optional) https://amzn.to/2oGmaNS 1x Scotty Peeler (optional) https://amzn.to/2nXIsKJ
