NOW WITH IEEE-488 SOCKET APERTURE!!! ZoomFloppy is a compact, cost-effective circuit board developed by RETRO Innovations that enables Commodore computers to connect with PCs via a USB link. This connection allows PCs to easily read and write data to Commodore floppy drives like the 1541, 1571, and 1581. Utilizing third-party software, users can effortlessly archive Commodore floppies onto emulator image files. This project case was created for ZoomFloppy, reminiscent of classic Commodore cases. I printed mine in Zen Toolworks white, which boasts a beautiful ivory luster and resembles a Vic 20. However, you can print yours in any color you prefer, such as the tan of a Commodore 64, which would work exceptionally well. There are several stripe files available, each with its own designated color. Despite their varied colors, these stripes are identical, making them ideal for organizational purposes. You can simply print the same stripe in different colors if you want to achieve that distinctive Commodore 64 logo look. The Screw Aligner is a test piece designed to ensure your print will fit the board perfectly. If your board fits snugly onto the four spikes without any issues, then you're ready to print. However, if there are any discrepancies, adjust the scale until the screw aligner fits flawlessly, and then proceed with printing the rest of the case in that adjusted scale. The original case is for the ZoomFloppy as it came from the manufacturer, sans IEEE-488 socket. I was approached by a customer to add this aperture, which I did, and after test-printing it and making some minor adjustments, it should now be ready for use. Additionally, I included caps for the circuit-board edges in the design. Simply print these and slip them over the raw circuitboard parts that protrude from the case sides. Board Cover Title - fits seamlessly over the title on the circuit board Board Cover Parallel - provides a snug fit over the parallel circuit edge
