For updates scroll to bottom>> Needed a basic model to do some study on stepper driver control Imported from the original Zortrax solid works files and assembled in Inventor 2016 to check motion and make a simple animation. Include files are a zip folder with the inventor assembly/part files and a step file for those of you who haven't figured out how good Inventor is yet :-) I have already found a couple of minor issues and things to improve on the original model so i will share them here when finished / updated. While in the process i have shelled it out . Maybe ill have a go at articulating joints 4.5 maybe even 6 at some stage later. All parts edited from the original will be found in PM Revisions folder Feed back welcome but please note this is a work in progress so don't expect things to be perfect. Any questions just ask . Update 2- Jan 29 Minor editing to arm 5 so it fits the shelled version of arm3 Update 3- Jan31. Adapted Arm 3 upper and lower shell to allow 695 bearings to be fitted + minor sculpting to better match Arm 2 profile Enjoy
