This was designed out of the need to reduce the fan noise of my Zotac 3080 Trinity. With fan speed over 70% this card gets unbelievably loud and I noticed that the fan shroud has a lot of sharp edges that can be the cause for it. I therefore made this minimalist design to proof my theory and successfully reduced the noise by at least 5db. But what is more important is that the noise pitch itself changed from vacuum to normal fan noise. The shroud uses the OEM mounting points on the cooler as well as the fans. The original screws can be reduced.
