Zowie FK, EC, ZA, Series Improved Scroll Notch

Enjoy the Zowie shape but not the scroll wheel? Hopefully this small mod part will improve your experience. This part still allows for some tactile feedback and smooths out the scroll wheel steps creating a better and smoother experience in my opinion. Installation is not too difficult. Please install at your own risk. basic instructions below: 1. Open up the mouse. -EC series: One small screw under label. -ZA/FK series: Four small screws total. Two screws under each of the feet. 2. Remove and disassemble scroll wheel. 3. Remove the stock notching mechanism with the 2 springs attached. 4. Remove the 2 small springs from the stock notch and place the springs onto the new 3d printed replacement notch. 5. Reassemble scroll wheel with new part and replace back into the mouse. 6. Reassemble the mouse and check the scroll wheel for any issues. 7. If everything checks out and you're happy with the install put the screws back in and replace feet if needed and you're good to go! **NOTE** You can adjust resistance of the scroll wheel by stretching or compressing the 2 very small springs that attach to the notch. Be careful not to overdue it. this could damage or bend the springs.** ***Update 09/28/19 - Released version 2 which allows you to feel the notches in the mouse wheel.***
