ZSA Moonlander thumb cluster telescopic leg

ZSA Moonlander thumb cluster telescopic leg

Update 11 Dec 21: I have redesigned a telescopic leg that allows you to have any variable height between 35 to 70mm. This allows a more comfortable tent that allows for the thumb cluster to remain up for easy reach. However, the telescopic leg would require an M3 screw and nut that sort of broke my design philosophy of a tool-less kit. Nevertheless, I'm leaving the original leg design in place if you prefer a tool-less fixed height version. Do note the caveat regarding printing orientation! Original post: This is a tenting kit for the moonlander that is designed to clip on the thumb cluster without the need for any screws. This allows for a much smaller and portable gadget that you can bring around to tent the keyboard higher without need for a screw driver. It also tents much higher than the legs that comes with the moonlander while keeping the thumb cluster relatively flat. The keyboard is relatively stable on its own, but you may want to check out my extended leg design at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5156840. I have also included the STEP file for you to remix if you like to shorten the legs or change the clip dimensions due to differing printer's output. You will need to reorient the print with the legs horizontal and add support for the leg. Do NOT print in the default orientation!!
