There are posts out there to such as this https://www.voltivo.com/da-vinci-1-0-filament-counter-reset-using-an-arduino to reset your printer cartridge counter. However, holding the wires to the cartridge while you're holding the arduino and the power is quite a challenge. Thus, here is a boot that can be wired up easily so that when you're ready to reset your counter, you just plug in the arduino as shown, and set your cartridge in the boot. Tip: I used 24 gauge wire which was easy to pull through the holes with leader thread. To get it through, I just put the tip of the thread into one end of the hole and sucked it through the other end.
