The Transfiguration Church was built in 1747-1787 and represented a high five-domed quadrangle with an intricate completion, closely repeating the forms of the Resurrection Church in Tobolsk, a small refectory connecting to a pagoda bell tower, with a single-domed southern Znamensky chapel. The monument to architecture is now completely lost (closed and demolished in 1930). Sources for its reconstruction were archival photo materials, research materials from Krasnoyarsk historians of architecture (including general plans by K.Y. Shumov), as well as analogues, particularly the Church of Zachariah and Elizabeth (city of Tobolsk).
