... I know, it's very weird, but that's how it is. Canonically, this would make sense as a pilot helmet for a Marauder Corps pilot as we see significant customization of helmets (and titans) by individual pilots (for example, Lastimosa and Anderson).

This is what I think would have happened at the Viper boss fight in the mission "The Ark". ... It's an alternate reality situation where Viper ripped off both BT's arms and Viper's missiles didn't go off, so BT and Jack acquired the Ark successfully.
