I used a spinner to teach about satellites and orbital dynamics when I had the idea of creating this model of the Earth with an elliptical ring around it. It makes a great fidget toy while also being helpful in explaining orbits.

I checked out the other files here on thingiverse remixed from this design and they were great, but I wanted to be able to see more of spaceship earth when making it into a planter, so I did a remix of this design to only take a little off the top.
