Add a .75" mirror available from craft stores, and slip over the Ryobi lasers to allow aiming at a much broader area than out of the box.

This is a case for your Ryobi Airgrip laser level. It doesn't come with one and I wasn't comfortable just throwing it in my tool bag. I was concerned the level bubble would break, switch would get flipped on when rubbing against something else, etc.

Cut from 2mm birch ply. ...Have had good results using 2mm balsa. Included gcode (.nc) file will work with Eleksmaker or Grbl based diode cutters. My 2.5w laser took 4 passes to cut 2mm balsa, whereas the birch took 16 passes (full power).
